Ode to a Pile of Laundry

When the washer stops and the dryer buzzes
I go excitedly thinking that no more fuss is
Needed to finish this task.
However laying before me it basks
Ominously rearing its ugly head,
Another load needing its water bed.
So what shall I do with this endless drudgery?
Be thankful to the Father above and not be blubbery
That my Kenmore's work
and I am not a poet laureate
