I love Fall. I wish we had more of the Fall color here in Texas where I live. But I can live vicariously through friends and families. They share their pictures from back east near home and other places with lots of hardwoods. The colors of Fall are like the fabled swan's song. The forests burst forth in blazing color just before their glorious displays loose their hold and float down to their final death. We have those glorious reds, yellows, golds and oranges for such a brief time. Sigh. I think its the loveliest gift that God gives us during this time of year.
