But I thought it was a fitting tribute today. While my Grandaddy survived his service in WWII, he had many scars from that service. I am thankful to him for the sacrifices he made to protect our country and get back home to his family and my mom :-). Early this morning my Grandmama Harrell went home to Heaven.  I have a confession to make. I am a card carrying pen-a-holic.  I think it  all started in 4th grade when these amazing felt tip markers showed up in the school store. I bought one a week until I had ALL of them. And there were at least 20.

I LOVE this song! And the video background images  that they added from the movie the Passion of the Christ are  powerful. whew! I got a message from one of my friends, Sandy Autry Blake, this morning about 4 am. She told me her mom, Faye Autry, died unexpectedly last night and they were on their way to NC to help her dad plan the funeral. I was in shock! Can't imagine what they are going through. And Faye is my parents age and was in good health. We just never know do we?
